The Italian Design Day 2025 is organized by the Consulate General of Italy, ITA Italian Trade Agency, and VDAS Design Association under the theme "Inequalities: Design for a Better Life."
This year's edition will align with the upcoming international exhibition of the Triennale di Milano, creating a unique synergy to explore how design can drive positive change.
Italian Design Day 2025 concluded successfully, opening in-depth discussions on the theme “Inequality: Designing for a Better Life.” The event gathered over 100 experts, architects, designers, and industry leaders to explore the role of design in fostering equity and enhancing quality of life. The event was honored to be inaugurated by: ⭐ Mr. Enrico Padula – Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City. ⭐ Mr. Fabio De Cillis – Director of the Italian Trade Agency in Ho Chi Minh City. ⭐ Mr. Hồ Tấn Dương – President of the VDAS Design Association. During the panel discussion, speakers from Italy and Vietnam shared innovative initiatives, ranging from urban architecture and public space design to solutions that enhance inclusivity in design: 🔹 Architect Tiziano Vudafieri – Presented "Connecting Through Design," emphasizing a human-centered design approach to creating harmonious and sustainable living environments. 🔹 Architect Nguyên Phạm – Delivered a talk on "Under One Roof," exploring the role of public space design in bridging social gaps. 🔹 Architect Gaetano Natella – Offered profound insights through "Empathetic Cities," analyzing how architecture and space shape human experiences. 🔹 Architect Bùi Hoàng Bảo – Shared practical perspectives on urban design and the impact of architecture on social equity. 🔹 Architect Tạ Vĩnh Phúc – Provided expert insights into sustainable architecture and the role of design in creating harmonious living environments. Italian Design Day 2025 was not only an opportunity to exchange pioneering design ideas but also a platform to connect, inspire, and promote collaboration in the fields of design and architecture. With nearly 40 years of experience, he has left a significant mark in global architecture and interior design, from luxury fashion boutiques to restaurant, hotel, and creative office spaces. Under his leadership, Vudafieri Saverino Partners has completed over 700 projects for top brands such as Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Tod’s, Moschino, Kenzo, and many more.

Co-founder of MIA Design Studio. As one of the pioneering architects in holistic design, he has played a key role in shaping contemporary architecture in Vietnam. With a creative mindset and a sustainable design philosophy, Mr. Bui Bao Hoang and MIA Design Studio have developed numerous high-end hotels, resorts, and villas, deeply infused with cultural identity and minimalist spirit.

The principal architect of Atelier Nguyen Pham, who has years of experience working across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. An Italian architect with an extensive academic background and rich experience. He graduated in Architecture from Naples University and later earned a Master’s degree in “Urban Planning & Design for Territorial Transformation Management” with outstanding achievements. He has taught at Naples University and gained extensive experience working on international projects in various countries. Currently, he is the Chief Architect of Gae & Partners Italian Architecture, a prestigious firm known for its distinctly Italian designs, creatively combining aesthetics, cutting-edge technology, and local cultural elements.

MODERATOR
With over 20 years of experience in architecture and design, he is the founder and CEO of ROOM+ Design & Build. He graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture and further specialized at The University of New South Wales (Australia), also becoming a member of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA). His projects embody minimalism, sustainability, and creativity, with notable works such as “Cage House” and “The Cornerstone House”.
